Assistive Technology Services

Through a new partnership with Texas Center for the Studies of Disabilities, Easter Seals is promoting independent living for people with disabilities through access to technology. Easter Seals North Texas Assistive Technology Center allows clients the opportunity to utilize a variety of assistive technology devices and programs at no cost. In addition to skills practice and acquisition, clients become more informed on the state-of-the-art technology solutions and tools available to them and how the respective technologies can dramatically impact a person’s ability to live a more independent life.

Job Accommodation Workstation (JAWS)
MAGic
REACH
Naturally Speaking
Voyager Suites: Discovery Desktop
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
Mouse options and optimizations
Assistive Communication, Listening and
Magnification devices

Easter Seals’ Assistive Technology Services can benefit North Texas residents who have physical, cognitive, visual, speech, or hearing impairments and their families.
