Physical Therapy
Physical therapy services include individualized evaluation of gross motor development, balance, coordination, strength, endurance, mobility, joint and muscle range of motion and more. Services also include screening for equipment needs. Highly qualified and trained therapists provide the appropriate treatment for many diagnosed conditions.
 Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy services includes evaluation of sensory integrative skills, fine motor development, cognitive development, self-care skills, visual perceptive skills and upper body strength/coordination. Services also include screening for upper extremity equipment needs and adaptive devices. Highly qualified and trained therapists provide the appropriate for many diagnosed conditions.
Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-Language therapy services include an evaluation and treatment to improve listening skills, sound production, self-expression and oral motor function for speech and feeding, as well as assistance for the family and client in choosing augmentative communication systems, such as sign language and electronic devices. Highly qualified and trained therapists provide an individualized evaluation and treatment for many diagnosed conditions.
Audiology
Audiology services are provided by a licensed clinical audiologist. All services are provided using a state-mandated sound booth with calibrated equipment to ensure the most accurate results. Easter Seals North Texas offers comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for both children and adults.
Social Services
Easter Seals North Texas offers supportive counseling for patients and family members to help cope with a client's special needs. Services include individual counseling, family counseling, family support and education as well as family/client assistance in locating or accessing community resources.
